Laurel was born in 1955 in Wisconsin. She spent most of her childhood growing up in  Colorado. Attended the University of Colorado and the University of New Mexico. Laurel is mostly a self taught artist. She presently lives in Guatemala and British Columbia. As a long time spiritual practitioner and world explorer, Laurel's reoccurring theme of CURIOSITY resonates around 'who, what, where, when, how and why'. Who are we, what is reality and what are we doing, where are we now and where are we going, how did we get here, how do we get over there, when does reality happen, why do we do the thing we do. The questions we ask create ourselves create our reality, create our future. Curiosity in what is beauty, what is life itself, what is art. Most of all Laurel wants to play and explore the world of translating thought into art. The craft of manifesting an idea into something solid.
